Glazed fire doors in Tottenham: how we work
Looking for glazed fire doors in Tottenham? Our supply and fit service covers N17 and the surrounding area, including Edmonton and Wood Green. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Our Greater London coverage includes Tottenham and its neighbours Edmonton, Wood Green and Walthamstow; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Regulations for glazed fire doors in Greater London
Fire doors in Tottenham sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Glazed fire doors prices in Tottenham
Budget around £950 to £1,700 per single doorset for glazed fire doors supplied and fitted in Tottenham, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.

Glazed fire doors in Tottenham: questions
Can you work around tenants or staff in Tottenham?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Which rules do glazed fire doors in Tottenham need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Tottenham?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Does fire glass need to be safety glass too?
In low-level and door glazing, yes — many fire glasses also meet impact safety classes.
