Glazed Fire Doors for Ely buildings
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Ely, we provide glazed fire doors with tested fire glass with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Whether your building is in central Ely or on its edges towards Newmarket, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Ely
In Ely, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in Ely
Our guide for glazed fire doors is £950–£1,700 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Ely are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
