Certified glazed fire doors for Crowthorne
We fit glazed fire doors with tested fire glass in Crowthorne and the rest of Berkshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Crowthorne is about 10 miles from Reading; we cover both, along with Sandhurst, Yateley and Camberley.
What the law says in Crowthorne
New and replacement fire doors in Crowthorne are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
Glazed fire doors prices in Crowthorne
Our guide price for glazed fire doors in Crowthorne is £950 to £1,700 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
