Getting fire rated glazed screens fitted in Salisbury
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Salisbury? Our supply and fit service covers SP1 and the surrounding area, including Andover and Totton. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Salisbury is about 34 miles from Swindon; we cover both, along with Andover, Totton and Southampton.
Which rules apply in Salisbury?
Fire doors in Salisbury sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in Wiltshire
Expect roughly £1,400–£4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens, fitted, ex VAT. Your Salisbury quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
