Fire-Rated Screens & Fanlights for Retford buildings
Need fire rated glazed screens in Retford? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Nottinghamshire, starting with a free measure survey in and around DN22. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Retford is about 27 miles from Nottingham; we cover both, along with Worksop, Gainsborough and Doncaster.
Which rules apply in Retford?
In Retford, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Fire rated glazed screens prices in Retford
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Retford, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
