Our Grantham supply and fit service
We fit fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights in Grantham and the rest of Lincolnshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Our Lincolnshire coverage includes Grantham and its neighbours Newark-on-Trent, Melton Mowbray and Oakham; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
What the law says in Grantham
In Grantham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Grantham?
Our guide for fire rated glazed screens is £1,400–£4,500 per screen fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Grantham are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
