Our Cleethorpes supply and fit service
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits fire rated glazed screens in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Whether your building is in central Cleethorpes or on its edges towards Grimsby, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Which rules apply in Cleethorpes?
Because Cleethorpes is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Cleethorpes?
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Cleethorpes, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Questions about fire rated glazed screens in Cleethorpes
Which rules do fire rated glazed screens in Cleethorpes need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Can you fit just one door in Cleethorpes?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Lincolnshire.
What does a Cleethorpes quote include?
Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.
Steel or timber screens?
Both are available. Timber matches timber doorsets; steel suits slim sightlines and higher ratings.
