Certified fire rated glazed screens for Loughborough
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Loughborough? Our supply and fit service covers LE12 and the surrounding area, including Coalville and Leicester. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Loughborough is about 9 miles from Leicester; we cover both, along with Coalville, Leicester and Long Eaton.
Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in Leicestershire
In Loughborough, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Questions about fire rated glazed screens in Loughborough
How quickly can you survey in Loughborough?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Loughborough visits with other work in Leicestershire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Loughborough?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Loughborough?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
