Fire rated glazed screens in Fareham: how we work
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits fire rated glazed screens in Fareham, Hampshire. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Fareham is about 11 miles from Southampton. Wherever your building is in PO16, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Which rules apply in Fareham?
Because Fareham is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Fire rated glazed screens in Fareham: questions
How quickly can you survey in Fareham?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Fareham visits with other work in Hampshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
What does a Fareham quote include?
Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Fareham?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Steel or timber screens?
Both are available. Timber matches timber doorsets; steel suits slim sightlines and higher ratings.
