Fire rated glazed screens in Stirling: how we work
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Stirling, we provide fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Surveys in Stirling are booked around your access needs, and we cover the wider Forth Valley area too.
Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in Forth Valley
In Stirling the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.

Questions about fire rated glazed screens in Stirling
What does a Stirling quote include?
Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Stirling?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Is the survey in Stirling free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
