Fire-Rated Screens & Fanlights for Bridlington buildings
If your fire risk assessment in Bridlington has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit fire-rated glazed screens and fanlights to match its recommendations. Surveys in YO16 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.
Where possible we combine Bridlington surveys with other visits in East Riding of Yorkshire, such as Scarborough and Beverley, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in East Riding of Yorkshire
Because Bridlington is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of fire rated glazed screens in East Riding of Yorkshire
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Bridlington, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
