Fire exit doors in Pontypool

Fire exit doors in Pontypool: how we work

We fit fire exit doors with panic hardware in Pontypool and the rest of Gwent. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.

Where possible we combine Pontypool surveys with other visits in Gwent, such as Cwmbran and Risca, which helps keep survey dates flexible.

What the law says in Pontypool

Wales issues its own version of Approved Document B, so new and replacement fire doors in Pontypool are specified against the Welsh guidance. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies in Wales, covering workplaces and the common parts of multi-occupied residential buildings, including flat entrance doors.

Guide prices in Pontypool

Expect roughly £1,200–£2,200 per single doorset for fire exit doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Pontypool quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.

Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
