Fire Door Supply & Fit for Halifax buildings
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Halifax, we provide fire door supply and fit with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Halifax is about 14 miles from Leeds; we cover both, along with Brighouse, Huddersfield and Cleckheaton.
Fire door rules in Halifax
Fire doors in Halifax sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Cost of fire door installation in West Yorkshire
Expect roughly £750–£1,150 per FD30 doorset for fire door installation, fitted, ex VAT. Your Halifax quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
Where fire door installation are needed
Landlords and managing agents and contractors and fit-out firms are among the most common settings for fire door installation, in Halifax as elsewhere.
