Certified commercial fire doors for Halifax
We fit commercial and office fire doorsets in Halifax and the rest of West Yorkshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Whether your building is in central Halifax or on its edges towards Brighouse, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Fire door rules in Halifax
Because Halifax is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Commercial fire doors prices in Halifax
Budget around £850 to £1,500 per single doorset for commercial fire doors supplied and fitted in Halifax, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
Where commercial fire doors are needed
Restaurants and commercial kitchens and retail units are among the most common settings for commercial fire doors, in Halifax as elsewhere.
Leeds and Bradford lead West Yorkshire's demand with city-centre apartments, student housing and converted mills across the Pennine towns.
