Fire door installation in South Croydon: how we work
Need fire door installation in South Croydon? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Greater London, starting with a free measure survey in and around CR2. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central South Croydon or on its edges towards Croydon, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in South Croydon
Because South Croydon is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Fire door installation prices in South Croydon
Expect roughly £750–£1,150 per FD30 doorset for fire door installation, fitted, ex VAT. Your South Croydon quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
Where fire door installation are needed
Single doors to full-building programmes and schools, care and healthcare estates are among the most common settings for fire door installation, in South Croydon as elsewhere.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.
