Certified fire door installation for New Malden
We fit fire door supply and fit in New Malden and the rest of Greater London. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Where possible we combine New Malden surveys with other visits in Greater London, such as Surbiton and Morden, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
What the law says in New Malden
Because New Malden is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in New Malden
Budget around £750 to £1,150 per FD30 doorset for fire door installation supplied and fitted in New Malden, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
Typical uses in New Malden
Single doors to full-building programmes and schools, care and healthcare estates are among the most common settings for fire door installation, in New Malden as elsewhere.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.
