Getting fire door installation fitted in Weymouth
Need fire door installation in Weymouth? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Dorset, starting with a free measure survey in and around DT4. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Weymouth is about 27 miles from Bournemouth; we cover both, along with Poole, Yeovil and Bournemouth.
Which rules apply in Weymouth?
Fire doors in Weymouth sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
