FD60 fire doors in Prestwich: how we work
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits FD60 fire doors in Prestwich, Greater Manchester. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Prestwich is about 4 miles from Manchester. Wherever your building is in M25, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Fire door rules in Prestwich
Because Prestwich is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
