Which rules apply in Northwich?
Because Northwich is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Northwich
Budget around £1,050 to £1,650 per single doorset for FD60 fire doors supplied and fitted in Northwich, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Common questions in Cheshire
Is the survey in Northwich free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Northwich?
Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Northwich?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can I use an FD60 door where FD30 is required?
Yes — a higher rating meets a lower requirement — but it is heavier and dearer, so we only recommend it where the location calls for it or you want a margin.
