FD30S Smoke Control Doorsets for Brierley Hill buildings
We cover Brierley Hill and nearby Stourbridge for FD30S fire doors, with surveys booked around your building's access and occupancy. Each door is quoted individually, so you can see what every opening costs and why.
Whether your building is in central Brierley Hill or on its edges towards Stourbridge, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Regulations for FD30S fire doors in West Midlands
Because Brierley Hill is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
FD30S fire doors prices in Brierley Hill
Budget around £800 to £1,250 per single doorset for FD30S fire doors supplied and fitted in Brierley Hill, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.

Your questions answered
Can you fit just one door in Brierley Hill?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in West Midlands.
How quickly can you survey in Brierley Hill?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Brierley Hill visits with other work in West Midlands. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Brierley Hill?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Do smoke seals stop the door closing?
They shouldn't. A properly hung FD30S door closes and latches under its closer. If seals are crushed or the door binds, it needs adjusting — a door that fails to latch is a failed fire door.
