What the law says in Cardiff
In Cardiff the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
FD30S fire doors prices in Cardiff
Our guide for FD30S fire doors is £800–£1,250 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Cardiff are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
