FD30S fire doors in Hoddesdon: how we work
We fit FD30S smoke control doorsets for flats, stairs and corridors in Hoddesdon and the rest of Hertfordshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Our Hertfordshire coverage includes Hoddesdon and its neighbours Hertford, Cheshunt and Waltham Abbey; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Fire door rules in Hoddesdon
Because Hoddesdon is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of FD30S fire doors in Hertfordshire
Our guide price for FD30S fire doors in Hoddesdon is £800 to £1,250 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
