Your questions answered

Can you work around tenants or staff in Inverurie?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

How quickly can you survey in Inverurie?

We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Inverurie visits with other work in Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.

Can you fit just one door in Inverurie?

Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire.

Do smoke seals stop the door closing?

They shouldn't. A properly hung FD30S door closes and latches under its closer. If seals are crushed or the door binds, it needs adjusting — a door that fails to latch is a failed fire door.
