Getting composite fire doors fitted in Newmarket
Looking for composite fire doors in Newmarket? Our supply and fit service covers CB8 and the surrounding area, including Haverhill and Ely. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Whether your building is in central Newmarket or on its edges towards Haverhill, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Which rules apply in Newmarket?
Fire doors in Newmarket sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do composite fire doors cost in Newmarket?
Our guide for composite fire doors is £1,200–£2,200 per door fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Newmarket are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
