Composite Fire Doors for Cambridge buildings
We cover Cambridge and nearby Newmarket for composite fire doors, with surveys booked around your building's access and occupancy. Each door is quoted individually, so you can see what every opening costs and why.
We cover CB2 and the surrounding area, including Newmarket. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
What the law says in Cambridge
In Cambridge, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of composite fire doors in Cambridgeshire
Budget around £1,200 to £2,200 per door for composite fire doors supplied and fitted in Cambridge, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.

Composite fire doors in Cambridge: questions
Can you work around tenants or staff in Cambridge?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Do you cover Cambridge?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit composite fire doors throughout Cambridge and the rest of Cambridgeshire, including CB2 and nearby Newmarket.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Cambridge?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can composite fire doors be used externally?
Many are tested for external use, which matters for doors opening onto external walkways or stairs.
