Composite fire doors in Grantham: how we work

Grantham is about 22 miles from Lincoln; we cover both, along with Newark-on-Trent, Melton Mowbray and Oakham.
What the law says in Grantham
In Grantham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of composite fire doors in Lincolnshire
Guide prices for composite fire doors in Grantham run from about £1,200 to £2,200 per door, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
