Our service in Chorley
We supply and fit certified fire doorsets in Chorley for flats, HMOs, homes, workplaces and public buildings — every rating from FD30 to FD120, quoted door by door after a free measure survey.
Whether your building is in central Chorley or on its edges towards Leyland, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Regulations for FD30 fire doors in Lancashire
New and replacement fire doors in Chorley are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
Lancashire combines former mill towns, Preston's city centre, Blackpool's hotels and guest houses, and Lancaster's student housing.
