Acoustic Fire Doors for Dudley buildings
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits acoustic fire doors in Dudley, West Midlands. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Dudley is about 8 miles from Birmingham. Wherever your building is in DY2, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Regulations for acoustic fire doors in West Midlands
Fire doors in Dudley sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do acoustic fire doors cost in Dudley?
Budget around £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset for acoustic fire doors supplied and fitted in Dudley, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
