Acoustic Fire Doors for Redhill buildings
Need acoustic fire doors in Redhill? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Surrey, starting with a free measure survey in and around RH1. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central Redhill or on its edges towards Reigate, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Redhill
New and replacement fire doors in Redhill are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.

Common questions in Surrey
Can you work around tenants or staff in Redhill?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Is the survey in Redhill free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Which rules do acoustic fire doors in Redhill need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Do acoustic seals affect the fire rating?
They can if untested. We only use seals covered by the doorset's fire evidence.
