Our Leicester supply and fit service
We fit acoustic fire doorsets in Leicester and the rest of Leicestershire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Leicester is one of the main towns we cover in Leicestershire; tell us your dates and we'll arrange a survey.
Regulations for acoustic fire doors in Leicestershire
In Leicester, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of acoustic fire doors in Leicestershire
Expect roughly £1,100–£2,000 per single doorset for acoustic fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Leicester quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
Buildings that need acoustic fire doors
