Our Harpenden supply and fit service
If your fire risk assessment in Harpenden has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit acoustic fire doorsets to match its recommendations. Surveys in AL5 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.
We cover AL5 and the surrounding area, including St Albans. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
What the law says in Harpenden
Because Harpenden is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do acoustic fire doors cost in Harpenden?
Expect roughly £1,100–£2,000 per single doorset for acoustic fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Harpenden quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
