Our Risca supply and fit service
Getting acoustic fire doors right in Risca means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Risca is about 4 miles from Newport. Wherever your building is in NP11, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Fire door rules in Risca
In Risca the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
Guide prices in Risca
Our guide for acoustic fire doors is £1,100–£2,000 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Risca are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
