Timber fire doors in Bordon: how we work
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits timber fire doors in Bordon, Hampshire. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Whether your building is in central Bordon or on its edges towards Farnham, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Fire door rules in Bordon
Because Bordon is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Bordon
Guide prices for timber fire doors in Bordon run from about £750 to £1,600 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
