Timber fire doors in Saddleworth: how we work
Getting timber fire doors right in Saddleworth means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Saddleworth is about 11 miles from Manchester. Wherever your building is in OL3, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Which rules apply in Saddleworth?
Because Saddleworth is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do timber fire doors cost in Saddleworth?
Budget around £750 to £1,600 per single doorset for timber fire doors supplied and fitted in Saddleworth, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
