Security fire doors in Glenrothes

Our Glenrothes supply and fit service

Need security fire doors in Glenrothes? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Fife, starting with a free measure survey in and around KY7. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.

Whether your building is in central Glenrothes or on its edges towards Kirkcaldy, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.

Fire door rules in Glenrothes

Scotland has its own system: new and replacement fire doors in Glenrothes are designed to the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the Technical Handbooks (Section 2, Fire). For non-domestic premises, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 place duties on whoever controls the building.

What do security fire doors cost in Glenrothes?

Expect roughly £1,600–£3,500 per single doorset for security fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Glenrothes quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.

Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.

Buildings that need security fire doors

Flat entrance doors and plant rooms with valuable equipment are among the most common settings for security fire doors, in Glenrothes as elsewhere.
