Fire doors for freeholders & managing agents

Responsible persons for blocks of flats must keep communal and flat entrance fire doors effective — and, in England, check them regularly in buildings above 11 metres.

What freeholders & managing agents usually need

  • Flat entrance FD30S doors, block-wide
  • Communal corridor and stair doors
  • Programmes that work around residents
  • Records for your fire safety file

How we help

The Fire Safety Act 2021 confirmed that flat entrance doors fall within the Fire Safety Order. In England, regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 requires quarterly checks of communal fire doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors in buildings with a storey above 11 metres.

When those checks find failing doors, we quote replacements door by door, coordinate access with residents and hand over a schedule you can add to your building's records.
