School fire doors in Redditch: how we work
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits school fire doors in Redditch, Worcestershire. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
We cover B97 and the surrounding area, including Bromsgrove. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
What the law says in Redditch
Because Redditch is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do school fire doors cost in Redditch?
Expect roughly £1,100–£2,400 per doorset for school fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Redditch quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
