School & Healthcare Fire Doors for Pontefract buildings
Looking for school fire doors in Pontefract? Our supply and fit service covers WF8 and the surrounding area, including Castleford and Wakefield. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Whether your building is in central Pontefract or on its edges towards Castleford, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Fire door rules in Pontefract
In Pontefract, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do school fire doors cost in Pontefract?
Budget around £1,100 to £2,400 per doorset for school fire doors supplied and fitted in Pontefract, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
