School fire doors in Bow: how we work
Need school fire doors in Bow? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Greater London, starting with a free measure survey in and around E3. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central Bow or on its edges towards Stratford, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Which rules apply in Bow?
Because Bow is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
School fire doors prices in Bow
Expect roughly £1,100–£2,400 per doorset for school fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Bow quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
Where school fire doors are needed
Care and nursing homes and primary and secondary schools are among the most common settings for school fire doors, in Bow as elsewhere.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.
