School fire doors in Hastings: how we work
Looking for school fire doors in Hastings? Our supply and fit service covers TN34 and the surrounding area, including Bexhill-on-Sea and Hailsham. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Hastings is about 32 miles from Brighton; we cover both, along with Bexhill-on-Sea, Hailsham and Eastbourne.
Which rules apply in Hastings?
Fire doors in Hastings sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
