Riser cupboard fire doors in Droitwich: how we work
Looking for riser cupboard fire doors in Droitwich? Our supply and fit service covers WR9 and the surrounding area, including Bromsgrove and Worcester. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Droitwich is about 6 miles from Worcester; we cover both, along with Bromsgrove, Worcester and Stourport-on-Severn.
Fire door rules in Droitwich
In Droitwich, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Riser cupboard fire doors prices in Droitwich
Expect roughly £550–£950 per single doorset for riser cupboard fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Droitwich quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.

Worcestershire mixes Worcester's student and city-centre housing with Redditch's industry and Malvern's schools and care homes.

Your questions answered
Can you work around tenants or staff in Droitwich?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Droitwich?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Droitwich visits with other work in Worcestershire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you fit just one door in Droitwich?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Worcestershire.
Do you fire-stop the riser itself?
Fire-stopping is specialist work outside our doorset scope, but we report gaps we see so you can get them addressed.
