Riser cupboard fire doors in Birmingham: how we work
If your fire risk assessment in Birmingham has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit fire-rated riser and service cupboard doors to match its recommendations. Surveys in B3 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.
We cover Birmingham and the rest of West Midlands, with surveys arranged around your building's access and occupancy.
What the law says in Birmingham
In Birmingham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in Birmingham
Budget around £550 to £950 per single doorset for riser cupboard fire doors supplied and fitted in Birmingham, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
