Your questions answered

Can you fit just one door in Ashton-under-Lyne?

Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Greater Manchester.

What does a Ashton-under-Lyne quote include?

Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.

Do you cover Ashton-under-Lyne?

Yes. We survey, supply and fit riser cupboard fire doors throughout Ashton-under-Lyne and the rest of Greater Manchester, including OL7 and nearby Dukinfield.

What rating does a riser door need?

In England, Approved Document B generally asks for at least half the fire resistance of the shaft wall, with a 30-minute minimum — so FD30 is typical, rising to FD60 for 120-minute shafts. Your fire strategy confirms it.
