Our Catford supply and fit service
Need riser cupboard fire doors in Catford? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Greater London, starting with a free measure survey in and around SE6. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central Catford or on its edges towards Blackheath, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Catford
Because Catford is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Catford
Guide prices for riser cupboard fire doors in Catford run from about £550 to £950 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
Buildings that need riser cupboard fire doors
Wherever they are in Catford, riser cupboard fire doors are most often specified for plumbing ducts and bin and store cupboards.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.
- Plumbing ducts
