Fire rated glazed screens in Bognor Regis: how we work
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Bognor Regis? Our supply and fit service covers PO21 and the surrounding area, including Chichester and Littlehampton. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Bognor Regis surveys with other visits in West Sussex, such as Chichester and Littlehampton, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in West Sussex
Fire doors in Bognor Regis sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Bognor Regis?
Our guide price for fire rated glazed screens in Bognor Regis is £1,400 to £4,500 per screen including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.

Fire rated glazed screens in Bognor Regis: questions
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Bognor Regis.
Which rules do fire rated glazed screens in Bognor Regis need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Do you cover Bognor Regis?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire rated glazed screens throughout Bognor Regis and the rest of West Sussex, including PO21 and nearby Chichester.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
