Fire-Rated Screens & Fanlights for Didcot buildings
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Didcot? Our supply and fit service covers OX11 and the surrounding area, including Abingdon and Oxford. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Whether your building is in central Didcot or on its edges towards Abingdon, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Which rules apply in Didcot?
New and replacement fire doors in Didcot are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Didcot?
Guide prices for fire rated glazed screens in Didcot run from about £1,400 to £4,500 per screen, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
