Fire rated glazed screens in Strood: questions
Can you work around tenants or staff in Strood?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Strood?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Strood visits with other work in Kent. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Is the survey in Strood free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
