Questions about fire rated glazed screens in Droylsden
Can you fit just one door in Droylsden?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Greater Manchester.
Do you cover Droylsden?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire rated glazed screens throughout Droylsden and the rest of Greater Manchester, including M43 and nearby Failsworth.
Do you remove the old doors?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door and frame is included when we replace a doorset in Droylsden.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
