Questions about fire rated glazed screens in Derry
Can you fit just one door in Derry?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in County Londonderry.
Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Derry?
Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.
Is the survey in Derry free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
