Your questions answered
Do you cover Colwyn Bay?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire rated glazed screens throughout Colwyn Bay and the rest of Clwyd, including LL29 and nearby Rhyl.
Is the survey in Colwyn Bay free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Which rules do fire rated glazed screens in Colwyn Bay need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (Wales) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Does a fanlight above a fire door need to be fire-rated?
Yes, if it is part of the fire-resisting wall or door assembly. Ordinary glass above a fire door defeats the door.
